Although it's usually entails a long day, I actually like Traditions. You complete your first round of computer training as a whole group, learn how The Walt Disney company began, and experience what it truly takes to be a Cast Member and the impact we can have on our guests' lives.
I had completed Traditions before during my College Program, so I knew a lot of what to expect. But in Disney fashion, there were some surprises along the way - like brand new Mickey ears, YAY! However, I don't want to give away all the surprises, so I'm now tight-lipped!
Also, if you are returning to work for Disney, please remember to turn in your ID BEFORE you leave your program/internship...OR bring it back with you. If not, you will be like me and have to pay an "outstanding ID" fee, hmph. What's worse is that they didn't get my ID made in time, so now I have to rework my training schedule and yada yada yada. See, your ID is crucial for nearly everything you do - getting into the parks, getting into the theme parks, renting your costumes, etc. Luckily though I think I got it all worked out, but it's still a bunch of hoops to go through. SO, save yourself all the hoopla and remember that ID, ha!
one of my bestest best friends, who I actually met on my first CP! <3
